Winter Wonderland

December was a busy month for us, but a very fun month.  One of the highlights of the month was we went to see our friends the Tanner's.  They used to live here but moved away, we were so sad! The boys got to go hunting and the girls got to go shopping and the babies got to play with each other.  It was so fun to see them, I wish they still lived here, we miss having them close.  I do think that visiting them will become a tradition, or at least I hope!

Sleeping on the car ride there, mouth wide open! He was a trooper.

Playing with his new BFF, Taytum.  They had so much fun together and played really well together.  I was so happy about that.

Letting Drake drive on our way home.
 Bath time!
His new favorite spot to sit, he pulls all his toys out plays for a minute and then moves on.  He is one busy boy!!
 Yelling at mom!

Rudolf the red nosed reindeer stopped by our house.

 Santa came too!!
 This baby LOVES his potatoes.

January has been nice to relax and with it being below zero most days we don't really have a choice but to stay inside.  Drake has no trouble staying busy, he goes from room to room and toy to toy.
 This boy LOVED lasagna!
Riding on Dad's shoulders, we need to take dad to the store with us more often, he's much more content up high than in the cart.
Just chewing on an orange peel, he loves them! Kevin got a juicer for Christmas so he has been busy concocting delicious juices ever since and Drake gets to play with the peels.

There has been no better toy than this box.  He also has a spatula in his mouth because he loves the dishwasher, the second I open it he's on his way to pull stuff out of the utensil slot it's nice that it keeps him busy.
I LOVE this picture of him, he has also recently discovered the fridge whenever we open it he loves to play with all the condiments or the string cheese in the drawer.  I walked away to get the camera and when I came back he gave me this huge smile like look mom I found my bottle! It was the perfect capture with the camera!

Thanksgiving and November

November just flew for us, like most holidays do, we spent some time in Utah, but spent the holiday in Denver with my family.
 Monkey man!
He started on Solid foods, he's eating grahm crackers here.  He'll eat almost anything, the first time he tries something he usually gags but if I keep introducing him to it he'll eventually eat it without a fight.  He loves beans, cheese, puffs, yogurt, oranges, bread, potatoes, peas, carrots and lots of other stuff! He's getting lots better at feeding himself now.

When we were in Utah we left a store and drove home and he got all quiet.  I figured he was asleep but when I opened up the back door this is how I found him.
Getting ready for church.  It's blurry but I love his smile in this one.
He used to do this pose when he was trying to figure out how to go from his stomach to a sitting position I call it the "strike a pose"
Morning time.  Don't you love his little drool spot next to him? I die! he's just too cute!

Fell asleep cuddling Grandma Karen.  She has the magic touch!
Playing the Piano with Auntie Klaire!
The biggest news of the month is he learned to CRAWL!!!! I don't know how this happened?! But he's getting quite good at it now, and into everything!

He became pretty good buddies with Hank, my parents dog while we were there.  Sadly, I think he's allergic because he had a rash the whole time we were there and we had to give him benadryl so he would sleep every night.  But the good news is the rash wasn't too bad so I'm hoping it will be something he'll grow out of.

His first piece of beef jerky, he loved it!
Shooting on black friday.  we needed to protect those ears! Auntie Klaire, Auntie Kina and Drake.

This is Kevin's four month picture.  Don't they look alike?!
Loves to play with kitchen utensils!
At Kevin's work they did MOvember, and paid $5 for every person who had a mustache on prostate cancer awareness day, so it was a good excuse for him to have some fun with facial hair.  He kept the goatee until the day for mustaches when he shaved it into a mustache.  And then had fun with that for a few days.

 Finally shaved off!
Walking with mom, and he fell asleep! we love to go on walks in the morning when it's cold out.

Festival of trees in Elko, it was small but lots of fun.
Seeing santa at the beginning of November.  Loved to grab onto his beard and hat.
Thanksgiving dinner at my parents house, he loved the mashed potatoes and the floor was covered with all of the food he ate.  Loved it!

He even got it in his hair!

 This was Kev's goatee!

Along with crawling a few days later he started to pull himself up on things.  I wasn't quite ready for that but i've gotten used to it now.  We love this little boy!!
