Spills

We've had some fun in the kitchen this week, well mostly Drake has had the fun.  He is so busy and keeps us on our feet.  This week I just didn't get on my feet fast enough.

The first episode was with syrup I literally left the room for two minutes to brush my teeth and grab my shoes and when I came back this is how I found him, He LOVED playing in it and when I came back he got so excited and the biggest smile.  I just started to laugh partially because it was so cute and partially because I had no idea where to start cleaning.  I still find sticky spots and it's been almost a week.  We went straight to the bath and thankfully it was in the kitchen and not on carpet!

 Look at that smile!
Then after I moved most of the things out of the cupboard that I thought could be extremely messy He found one thing I missed, Food coloring!

He was mad dad took away his fun.  Poor guy!

Behind him you can see the mess he made in the kitchen.  I've found that if there is anything you don't want him to find, he will find it! He's so fun and has tons of energy.

These aren't the greatest quality but it shows how much of a climber he is.  I took the cushions off the couch so he won't fall off and he climbs on the back.

I made a bottle the other day and he crawled over into the corner of the couch and crossed his legs gah!
I went to the gym during his nap and Kevin said he woke up really mad so he brought him into bed where he was doing homework and he watched kevin do homework and then a few minutes later he rolled over and fell asleep.  He has never done this before, it was too cute! This picture was taken at like 2 in the afternoon and we were still in our jammies.  Since Kevin has three day weekends at least one of those days is an all day pajama affair, sometimes we have two of those days but we love them!

Is it spring yet?

We are definitely ready for spring over here! Drake is so active and at a really fun stage.  We went to Vegas over the weekend and he was walking really good, wherever we would go he would walk for us but after we got home it was like he wanted nothing more to do with it.  But he's getting lots better.  We went to vegas for some friend's wedding, it was a fun get away but our car has  been acting funny the last few weeks and I kept telling Kevin that I thought something was wrong but he had never felt it so he finally did on our way down to Vegas but after we got there it quit doing it so we decided we wouldn't take it in.We were supposed to leave Friday and on Thursday night it started doing the weird thing again so we decided we would take it in before we left town.  Well they didn't have the part in so they gave us a rental and we drove to Cedar city to stay with Kevin's brother and sister in law.  It was an unexpected visit but worked out for the best, it was fun to see Mitch and Cass! So the part came in Monday morning and they replaced it but it was still acting up! So they decided to put us in another rental car and send us home while they kept the car and worked on it.  Well that was two weeks ago so they have replaced a few other things and haven't completely fixed it so they're sending a field engineer to work on it this week and we're hoping we can head back down this weekend! In the mean time here is what has been going on at home...

We got our Jessop family pictures taken over christmas and got them back, I love them!

Drake got sick, poor guy! It was the first time he has had a fever since he was born, but he was all sorts of cuddly and I loved it.

He loves his toast! We also tried peanut butter and he likes that okay too.
He is definitely a climber, we have our hands full! He is so adventurous and so curious we have to keep a close eye on him but he always keeps us laughing!
On Saturday I decided we needed to get out of the house, Kevin has been so busy with school so I decided he needed a break and we needed some dad and husband time it was fifty outside so definitely pleasant and when the sun was out it was beautiful! Drake hated the grass, I don't blame him since it was prickly maybe he'll like it more when it gets softer.

I gave him half my orange thinking he wouldn't like it but he ended up eating nearly the entire thing! plus it kept him occupied which was nice!

I was taking a picture of him sitting on my lap while he was sick and this is how I captured the moment.  He's recently discovered that he can pick his nose! I can't decide if it's better for him to pick his nose or our noses, he likes both.

He loves looking out the window so he'll stand right here and watch people and cars drive by.
 My little Valentine

 Getting into cupboards

Date night pulling slots with my sweetie!

These are a few of the moments I captures over the last few months, I can't believe my baby is almost ten months old! Where did the time go? We are looking forward to warm weather so we can play outside and getting our car back!

Winter Wonderland

December was a busy month for us, but a very fun month.  One of the highlights of the month was we went to see our friends the Tanner's.  They used to live here but moved away, we were so sad! The boys got to go hunting and the girls got to go shopping and the babies got to play with each other.  It was so fun to see them, I wish they still lived here, we miss having them close.  I do think that visiting them will become a tradition, or at least I hope!

Sleeping on the car ride there, mouth wide open! He was a trooper.

Playing with his new BFF, Taytum.  They had so much fun together and played really well together.  I was so happy about that.

Letting Drake drive on our way home.
 Bath time!
His new favorite spot to sit, he pulls all his toys out plays for a minute and then moves on.  He is one busy boy!!
 Yelling at mom!

Rudolf the red nosed reindeer stopped by our house.

 Santa came too!!
 This baby LOVES his potatoes.

January has been nice to relax and with it being below zero most days we don't really have a choice but to stay inside.  Drake has no trouble staying busy, he goes from room to room and toy to toy.
 This boy LOVED lasagna!
Riding on Dad's shoulders, we need to take dad to the store with us more often, he's much more content up high than in the cart.
Just chewing on an orange peel, he loves them! Kevin got a juicer for Christmas so he has been busy concocting delicious juices ever since and Drake gets to play with the peels.

There has been no better toy than this box.  He also has a spatula in his mouth because he loves the dishwasher, the second I open it he's on his way to pull stuff out of the utensil slot it's nice that it keeps him busy.
I LOVE this picture of him, he has also recently discovered the fridge whenever we open it he loves to play with all the condiments or the string cheese in the drawer.  I walked away to get the camera and when I came back he gave me this huge smile like look mom I found my bottle! It was the perfect capture with the camera!
